The best time of year to catch some steady winds with flat seas is during the November to May northeast monsoon season. To try out parasailing visit Patong Beach and be ready to practice your bartering skills, charges often vary according to length of rope used.
The beaches on Phuket’s southeastern coast, namely Nai Yang, Layan and Friendship Beach mainly promote kite surfing. There are also a few seasonal activities like surfing and Hobie Cat sailing.
