The beautiful Indonesian island of Bali beckons many an ardent traveller with its pristine beaches, iconic temples and panoramic natural views. Once in Bali, one is scarcely at a loss for things to do and is able to enjoy a multitude of activities and attractions. Given its reliance on the natural environment, the Indonesian Government focuses on a number of initiatives to combat rising sea levels and other drastic effects of climate change. To further this goal, the Climate Change Conference of the United Nations 2007 was held in Indonesia at the Bali International Convention Centre. Located in the enclave known as Nusa Dua, the Bali Convention Center is only one of many sights to see on the island while Nusa Dua is also home to one of the most well known golf clubs on the island, the Bali Golf and Country Club.

While games similar to golf have been played for centuries and can even be traced back to Roman times, the roots of the modern game can be found in 16th century Scotland. A sport that has become a world favourite in the 21st century, Golf Clubs have become integral and absolutely essential, both to its enjoyment as well as survival for sprawling grounds and special landscape is necessary for the complete enjoyment of the sport.

Keeping this notion in mind, the Bali Golf and Country Club was redesigned and re-opened as the Bali National Golf Club in 2014. The vast landscape of the Club strives to provide every golfer with a relaxing atmosphere within which to create and enjoy a very memorable game and is therefore, complete with lush green forestry providing a stark contrast to the extensive grassy landscape as well as coconut groves and bodies of water.

The Club is also complete with a Golfer’s Restaurant and Terrace making it the ideal place to enjoy the game in Bali.
