Diving at the Manta Point in Maldives A Magical World of Sublime Beauty

Endless stretches of clear blue ocean water, bathed in the surreal beauty of tropical sunny glory, where islands lay scattered like diamonds of the ocean, glistening and glimmering in their timeless white splendour are found in this land of sublime beauty and charm, the Maldives Islands, which can rightfully be called the ultimate holiday destination by those who love the fusion of sea and sun and pristine stretches of milky white shores. The beauty of these magical moments can be experienced while staying at Maldives luxury resorts such as Cocoa Island by COMO which is known for its luxury and comfort. While staying at this hotel, you will experience the finest standards of Maldivian hospitality while also indulging in the sheer pleasures of the world down under, equipped in your diving and snorkelling gear.

The surface beauty of Maldives is most wonderfully matched by the hidden splendours of its world that lies beneath the softly rippling waves of the sea. Rich in diverse marine life, this place has been a favourite among scuba divers since the days of old, who dive into her depths to explore and marvel at the rich and vibrant colour that is abundantly found here.

One of the more popular diving places among novices and experienced alike is the Manta Point which is located at the south east of Lankan Finolhu. Here beautiful mantas can be spotted in their numbers in the southwest monsoon season spanning from April to November. To the mantas, this place is magical, as it is to the mortals who dive beneath the surface to admire them, as they find this place to be a feeding ground rich with plankton, as well as a cleaning station given the presence of the shoals of small fish that feed here. The depth of this point is around 15 meters giving one ample time for exploring. The mantas will be seen hovering quite close to the divers, gracefully swimming in the place they love. Divers are indeed advised not to frighten these wonderful creatures by attempting to touch or chase them, as they may choose never to return to this place of wonder.

Gliding Through Rocky Islands – Sea Cave Kayaking Tours in Phuket

Visitors to Phuket simply have to explore the sea kayaking tours in the islands around the mainland. It is an amazing experience, one that you will only witness in this part of the world. Phang Nga Bay and Krabi are some of the major sites for sea kayaking. It doesn’t matter too much which location you choose, but keep in mind that you can only cover one of these areas during the day. The tour rides operate from the Phuket beach and will take you across to the spectacular caves hidden beneath the mountains. If you opt for the day trip most of the tour packages will include a visit to the nearby James Bond Island, the Muslim Island in Phang Nga and finally a ride to sea caves on an isolated island.

The only way to actually view these sea caves is by kayaking beneath them. Of course you will need a trusted guide to navigate across the waters. The caves are dark and hidden amongst the rocky edges of the island. Most of them open out into a mangrove area where you can observe monkeys, birds and fish. Even in the rainy season it is safe to go kayaking in the sea caves as it is a whole new experience you would not want to miss out on.

Such kayaking tours have a set itinerary for all of the customers on board. When you stop at the sea caves the crew will put out some of the kayaks and take two to three people on each ride. When you reach the end of the dark cave you will be amazed by the beautiful mangroves that are at the heart of the island. December to March are the best times for sea kayaking because the weather is unlikely to change during this time and you can avoid some of the harsh monsoons. There are several options of Phuket luxury accommodation available on the island and they are perfect for either a short or long stay. Point Yamu by COMO Phuket is a great place to reside in during your vacation in Thailand as it offers some of the best services and package deals for tourists.

Go Karting in Phuket – fast and furious action on the tracks at Phuket

Phuket in Thailand has always attracted the beach lovers looking to relax and soak up some sun. However the island also offers many land based activities for the individual or family looking for something different.
Go Karting is a popular attraction with the island boasting of two tracks with varying advantages and benefits, both situated opposite each other.

The Patong Go Kart Speedway offers streamlined fun with normal karts as well as race karts and is ideal for beginners due to the structured race track. 2 seater karts too can be booked for those kids who want to be a part of the action but are too young to drive a kart by themselves. In fact rules at the race track stipulate that all drivers be above 16 years of age.

An advantage at this race track is that the Grand Prixs for a group can be organised making the sport a challenging and competitive one that can be fun for the whole family. Varying degrees of competitions are also arranged on a corporate level.

The Phuket Kart Speedway is ideal for those who have go karted before as this speedway offers two stroke engine fast karts that are impressive both in sound and speed. Of course karts of all levels are available including 4 stroke karts ranging from 50 – 70 Kilometres per hour and 2 stroke karts ranging from those that perform at 100Kmph, 120Kmph and beyond. 2 seat karts too are available for the kids who wish to be part of the action.

Established in 1990 the racetrack is 750 meters in length and boasts of a restaurant and their own weekly Grand Prix with prizes and surprises for everyone participating.

A fairly new addition in the form of the off road track that includes water splashes, bridges and long curvy roads with boulders and humps to be experienced on a buggy certainly adds to the excitement and fun away from the beach at Phuket.

The best part about these race tracks is that after a tiring and fun session of go karting, participants can relax at a beautiful Phuket beach resort that would serve as a great place to stay at. A Phuket resort, especially one such as Anantara Phuket Resort Thailand not only offers visitors a relaxed and luxurious atmosphere but also some of the best amenities and facilities.
