Treble Cone Ski Field – South Island Snow heaven

The Treble Cone ski field is the largest in the south island with the longest verticle rise in the Queenstown Southern Lakes District. Over looking the lake Wanaka and Mount Aspiring the views are breath taking. The terrains are pretty exciting with different altitudes.

Many who come to the region either stay in their ski camps or have the option of of staying elsewhere. Queenstown Holiday Apartments are increasingly becoming a popular choice among holiday makers. The Treble Cone ski field was set up by Murray Raffills and Ralph Markby in 1968.Starting off as a small club field being managed by local ski enthusiasts.
